The total investment scale of "Ningdian into Xiang" project is about 1000 billion yuan, starting from Zhongwei, Ningxia, passing through Gansu, Shaanxi, Chongqing, Hubei, Hunan and other five provinces (regions) and a city, the total length of the line is 1634 kilometers, the project mainly transports green electricity and clean electricity produced by clean energy such as solar energy and wind energy in desert, Gobi and desert areas, becoming an innovative project in Ningxia facing the goal of "dual carbon", realizing a high proportion of stable transmission of new energy, and building a new power system, Demonstration project to realize the large-scale optimal allocation of new energy.

It is understood that the installed capacity of the supporting power supply of the "Ningxia Power into Xiang" project totals 1764.1400 million kilowatts, which will promote the transmission capacity of Ningxia's power grid from 2200 million kilowatts to 5000 million kilowatts, and the installed capacity of new energy will exceed 360 million kilowatts, greatly driving the local consumption of new energy in Ningxia and the large-scale optimization of new energy, and fundamentally solving the problem of new energy grid-connected consumption in central and southern Ningxia. After the project is put into operation, it will increase the electricity consumption of Hunan by 400 billion to <> billion kWh every year.

"Green Line" ecological governance makes the electric tower more solid

The "Ningdian into Xiang" project is the first large power channel in China to develop desert photovoltaic and transmit new energy. So, in the process of pre-planning and the current stage of construction, what problems did the construction party encounter? And how is it solved?

The total length of the "Ningdian into Xiang" project is 1634 kilometers, and the Ningxia section has 261 kilometers, of which 68% of the lines pass through desert, Gobi and desert terrain, which means that some power towers need to be built in the "Shage Wilderness" area, and the sparse vegetation in the area, the complex terrain, coupled with the invasion of wind and sand, will make the power tower have the risk of collapse, threatening the safe and stable operation of the transmission line
